For the first time since 1918, the total eclipse will travel coast-to-coast across the United States and with the level of hype that has grabbed the nation’s attention, Corbin HRC wasn’t about to miss out on the extraordinary and historical event.
Minutes before the eclipse was to occur, residents and staff eagerly walked to the courtyard and meticulously put on their yellow and black-colored protective eclipse eye wear. They stood and watched the eclipse occur, mesmerized by witnessing history. According to one member of the staff, “This was a special moment for all of us to get to share together,” she said.
The next total eclipse will not occur until April of 2018.
