The sight of bright white lights, red ribbon and big gold ornaments on the Christmas tree displayed in the dining hall really brought the Christmas spirit alive for the staff and residents at Corbin HRC. It was a warm sight and their families accompanied them for the occasion.
While sitting at round tables covered with beautiful red tablecloths, staff and residents mingled and conversed over a delicious Christmas ham and savory sides like dressing, homemade green beans and dinner rolls that would leave every reindeer salivating for their chance to feast. To finish off the fulfilling meal, everyone took a piece of pumpkin pie or blackberry cobbler to enjoy over coffee.
After dinner concluded, Santa Claus, yes, Jolly Old Saint Nick, went down the halls and to each room, delivering Christmas gifts from his sack and giving every resident a hug that could be felt even from the North Pole.
