Dressed in red, white and blue and holding tiny American flags, residents and staff at Corbin Health and Rehab had a “blast” celebrating the Fourth of July. With the entire facility decorated in patriotic imagery and surrounded by loved ones, the residents sat around and told stories from past Independence Day celebrations and the veterans residing in Corbin, even discussed their days serving in the military.

In America’s 241 years of independence, the patriotic holiday has become synonymous with burgers and hot dogs and potato chips so Corbin HRC made sure that they lived up to expectations and consumed that delicious food before being served a buttercream sheet cake with an American flag decorated on it.
